Check Mail

When you select the check mail icon. StarGate does the following:

• 1. StarGate will determine which account is the default from the accounts database to use for sending.

• 2. Check if there are any queued messages to be sent. If there are then SG sends them before checking for new messages.

• 3. Check for new messages on the mail server for all accounts that are active. To activate an account goto Accounts Setup Page

The following status window is opened for sending and receiving. If any error occurs during sending or receiving StarGate immeditately stops and displays the error message in the Error Tab. To see the error message click on the Error Tab.
